Terms Of Use Of The Online Store
These Terms of Use constitute an integral part of the distance contract concluded between the customer and the online store when placing an order through the website.
By placing an order on this website, the customer confirms that they have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If the customer does not agree to these terms, the customer should not place an order through the website.
1. General Information
The owner and operator of the online store is SIA HOLM BALTIC, registration number 40103471128, license No. MT00000013602, registered address: Kr. Barona iela 45/47, Riga, LV-1011, Latvia (hereinafter referred to as HEREFORD).
The customer is any natural or legal person placing an order through the online store.
By placing an order, the customer confirms that they are at least 18 years of age and legally capable of entering into binding agreements.
Orders can be placed through the website https://www.hereford.lv/.
2. Ordering
Customers may place orders through the website without creating an account.
When placing an order, the customer must provide accurate information including:
- full name
- phone number
- email address
- delivery address.
The customer is responsible for ensuring that the information provided is accurate and complete.
Order confirmations and updates will be sent to the email address provided by the customer.
3. Prices and Payments
All prices displayed in the online store are shown in EUR (Euro) and include applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.
Products are sold at the prices valid at the time the order is placed.
Product availability may vary. If a product becomes unavailable after an order has been placed, HEREFORD reserves the right to replace the product with a similar item of equal value or remove it from the order and refund the corresponding amount.
Payments are processed through the payment platform MakeCommerce, operated by Maksekeskus AS.
Personal data required for payment processing is transferred to the licensed payment institution Maksekeskus AS to ensure secure payment processing.
The purchase contract enters into force once the payment has been successfully received by the online store.
If an order cannot be fulfilled for any reason, the customer will be informed and the paid amount will be refunded as soon as possible, but no later than 14 days after the notification.
4. Delivery
Products are delivered to the address provided by the customer when placing the order.
Delivery is carried out using the courier service IzziPizzi.lv, in accordance with their delivery zones (Zones 0–3). Delivery is not available in Zone 4. The full delivery zone map is available at: https://www.izipizi.lv/zonas-cenas
Delivery fees are calculated based on the applicable delivery zone and include temperature-controlled transport (+2 to +6 °C) to ensure product quality.
Delivery fees:
Zone 0 – €6.40 + VAT
Zone 1 – €6.40 + VAT
Zone 2 – €8.40 + VAT
Zone 3 – €9.90 + VAT
Free delivery is available for orders over €100.
Orders are typically delivered within 1–3 business days. Orders must be placed by 20:00 on the previous day.
The customer must ensure availability to receive the order at the agreed delivery time. If delivery cannot be completed, additional delivery charges may apply.
HEREFORD makes every effort to deliver orders at the agreed time but cannot be held responsible for delays caused by circumstances beyond reasonable control.
Once the order has been delivered, responsibility for proper storage of the products transfers to the customer. Perishable products must be refrigerated immediately after delivery.
5. Product Quality
Product images displayed in the online store are for illustrative purposes only and may differ slightly from the actual product.
Fresh meat and other natural food products may vary slightly in:
- appearance
- color
- weight
- shape.
Natural food products may vary slightly in size, weight, and appearance. Such variations are normal and do not constitute a product defect.
All meat products are vacuum-packed to maintain freshness and product quality during transportation.
HEREFORD ensures that all products comply with applicable food safety and quality standards.
6. Right of Withdrawal
According to consumer protection regulations, the right of withdrawal does not apply to perishable food products, including fresh meat, chilled foods, and freshly prepared sauces.
If the customer receives a product that is damaged or does not meet quality expectations, the customer must notify HEREFORD within 24 hours after delivery.
The claim must include a photo of the product.
After reviewing the complaint, HEREFORD may offer:
- replacement of the product, or
- a refund.
7. Order Cancellation
HEREFORD reserves the right to temporarily or permanently suspend the operation of the online store due to technical or operational reasons.
If an order cannot be fulfilled, the customer will be notified and the payment will be refunded within 10 business days.

9. Dispute Resolution
These Terms of Use are governed by the laws of the Republic of Latvia.
Any disputes between the customer and HEREFORD should first be resolved through mutual negotiations.
If an agreement cannot be reached, the dispute may be resolved through the competent courts of Latvia or the Consumer Rights Protection Centre.
10. Personal Data Processing
Customer personal data is processed for the purpose of:
- order processing
- delivery
- payment administration
- accounting documentation.
Personal data may be shared with delivery service providers for the purpose of fulfilling the order.
